'Love's Labour's Lost'
venue
Guildhall
Dates
5th - 9th November 2013
Director
Ian Arnot
Ian Arnot's lavish production of 'Love's Labour's Lost' proved an ideal winter warmer in November 2013 with its perfect mix of love and laughter.
The gentle comedy, wordplay and clowning was handled deftly by a skilled cast who also breathed life and humanity into the more introspective and philosophical passages of this great meditation on love and loss. Complete with one of the hilarious play-within-a-play segments that the Bard wrote so well this production provided perfect and accessible Shakespearean entertainment.
