With ethereal lighting, beautiful costumes and otherworldly make-up effects Ian Arnot's 1998 production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' was a truly magical show.
Staged both on the main stage of the Derby Playhouse and in the open air at Carsington Water country park the play featured wonderful performances throughout.
Special mention must go to Mike Leech who not only agreed to have his head shaved for the role of Oberon but was prepared to do so in public outside the Derby Playhouse as publicity for the show!
